Ingredients
- 375g Homepride Superior Sponge Flour or Self Raising Flour
- 45g Caster Sugar
- 1 tsp Salt
- 330ml Bottle of Pale Beer/Ale
- 45g Melted Butter

Method
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C/160 degrees C fan
- Grease a 2lb loaf tin
- In a large bowl add the flour, sugar, salt, beer and half of the melted butter and whisk
thoroughly to combine - Pour the mix into the loaf tin
- Drizzle the remaining melted butter over the top of the uncooked dough
- Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 50 minutes or until golden and an inserted
skewer/tooth pick comes out clean - Once baked, remove from the oven and allow to cool in the tin for 5 minutes
- Remove the cooked loaf from the tin and allow to cool on a wire rack
