- Difficulty: Easy
- Makes: About 12 dependent on how big you cut them
- 100g dark chocolate
- 100g milk chocolate
- 200g unsalted butter
- 100g Homepride Plain Flour
- 50g cocoa powder
- 3 eggs
- 250g caster sugar
- Celebrations chocolates (or ANY leftover Christmas choccies!)
Put your chosen chocolates in the fridge to chill.
Melt the butter and chocolate either in a bowl in the microwave (in 10 second bursts) or in a bowl over a saucepan of boiling water. Once melted, leave to cool slightly.
Whisk the sugar and eggs until they have become pale and doubled in size.
Add in the melted butter and chocolate and mix well.
Gently fold in the Homepride Plain Flour and cocoa powder, be careful not to knock the air out.
Add in ½ of your chosen, chilled chocolate, chopped into pieces.
Pour into a lined 10” x 8” tin and bake at 180C for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes take the tray out of the oven and push in the other half of your chilled chosen chocolates. Bake for a further 10 minutes.
Leave to cool, cut into squares and enjoy!
Once baked, store in an airtight tin and enjoy within 5 days.
