  • 175g dark chocolate
  • 150g unsalted butter
  • 125g Homepride plain flour
  • 60g cocoa powder
  • 3 eggs
  • 250g golden caster sugar
  • 120ml Baileys
  • 1 tsp instant coffee dissolved in 85ml boiling water
  • 300g icing sugar
  • 150g butter
  • 75ml Baileys

  • For the brownies:

  • Melt together the butter and dark chocolate.

  • Whisk the eggs and sugar until they have tripled in size. Pour in the melted chocolate and butter as well as the coffee and Baileys.

  • Carefully fold in the Homepride Plain Flour and cocoa powder. Pour into a lined 10 x 8 tin and bake at 180C for 20 minutes.

  • For the frosting:

  • Mix together the icing sugar, butter and Baileys until creamy.

  • Spread over the cooled brownie slab and sprinkle with grated chocolate.

  • Cut into squares and enjoy!
